Born in Paris, Thomas, 27, recently completed his MFA in Filmmaking at NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia with a dual concentration in Directing and Cinematography. He shot films in Europe, USA and Asia which screened in international film festivals (Clermont-Ferrand, Hamburg, Encounters (UK), Athens OH (USA), Manila, Bahamas, Foyle (Northern Ireland), Austin (USA), Newport Beach Film Festival (USA)), Cleveland (USA), NYU Fusion (USA), LA Asian Pacific (USA), Sarasota (USA), Columbus (USA), DC Asian Pacific American (USA) and was nominated for the Kodak student cinematography scholarship award 2015. His photograph of the Virgin Mary taken in the Philippines was selected in the Black & White Collection by the Fifth Annual Exposure Award (2015) and was exposed at the Louvre in Paris. Recently, Thomas shot a documentary for VICE on the French elections. In addition he worked on commercials for brands such as Adidas, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, Victoria Secret and Miu Miu.

As a director, Thomas' film Returning Home won the 1st prize Wasserman Award 2015 at NYU and screened at the Director's Guild of America in Los Angeles, international film festivals (Paris, Madrid, Milan, Aberdeen, Vancouver) and was shortlisted at the BAFTA US Short Film Awards 2015.
